Poweshiek county dental coalition (H, F)
Poweshiek County Dental Coalition’s ongoing mission to improve access to local dental care for underserved children in the area. Since forming in 2012, the Dental Coalition has provided support to nearly 2,500 children in Poweshiek County through Free Dental Clinic Days for Kids, a voucher funding program, educational programming for preschoolers, transportation vouchers for those requiring specialized care not locally available, and school-based dental health screenings.

Social Entrepreneurs of Grinnell seeks to strengthen individuals’ economic well-being by empowering them to pursue financial opportunities or minimize the impacts of potentially derailing intermittent financial expenses through providing affordable loans to those who lack access to these from traditional financial institutions.
